Cultivating A Personal Restorative Ecosystem for BIPOC Women Whose Leadership Was Never Meant to Cost Them Everything
With Teena Lewis
and
Erica Clemmons-Dean
WHAT SACRED RECALIBRATIONS IS
Sacred Recalibrations is a virtual six-week restorative immersion for BIPOC women in leadership.
This is not a course you watch and forget. It is a living practice you build inside your own bodymind over six weeks — wherever you are, in your own space, at your own pace.
And for those called to go further, there is more.
An optional full day of in-person restoration — at a private lakeside retreat haven in Monticello, Georgia — offers a rare additional immersion: a chance to step fully into your body, in community, away from every screen and every demand.
Not required. Deeply recommended for the woman ready to feel what six weeks of practice becomes when it meets stillness, water, and sacred company.
Virtual Program - August 5 - August 9, 2026
Full-Day Retreat - September 26, 2026
WHO THIS IS FOR?
You lead people, movements, or organizations. You are a care-centered BIPOC woman. And you are ready — not just to feel better, but to lead differently.
To access the intelligence your body has been holding for you all along.
To restore yourself before chaos comes — not after.
To trust what you know before anyone else confirms it.
To act with clarity even when everything around you is in motion.
To build something inside you that lasts longer than a long weekend.
WHAT THE PROGRAM PROMISES
This is what you are walking toward …
Access your body's intelligence
Your body has been speaking to you the whole time. You have been trained to override it, push through it, perform above it.
In Sacred Recalibrations, you learn to listen. You develop the somatic awareness to read your own signals — in real time, in any room, under any pressure — and respond from wisdom instead of default.
Lead with clarity through chaos
Groundedness is not the absence of pressure. It is the capacity to stay rooted in yourself while the pressure is present.
You will build that capacity in your own body over six weeks — so that when the board gets difficult, when the funding shifts, when your staff needs you and you are running low, you can return to yourself fast. And lead from that place.
Care for yourself before you crasH
Most of us have learned to restore only after the collapse. This program teaches you deliberate recovery — the practice of replenishing yourself before the depletion becomes a crisis.
You will know your warning signs.
You will know what you need.
And you will have the practices to meet yourself there, before the wall.
Trust your inner knowing again
You have always known things before the data arrived. Sacred Recalibrations gives you language and a somatic framework for that knowing — so you stop second-guessing the intelligence that has been guiding you all along.
Your intuition is not soft.
It is your most sophisticated leadership technology.
Build a personal renewal ecosystem that sustains you for life
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to restoration. This program helps you discover which types of rest actually work for your nervous system, your depletion type, your life.
You leave with a personalized renewal ecosystem —not a wellness plan someone else designed, but a living practice you built from the inside out. One you can return to again and again, deepening every time.
No agenda but your healing.
A community that does not require translation.
Six weeks of gathering with Black women in leadership.
The kind of space where you do not have to explain yourself before you can rest.
Your depletion map
You will know exactly what drains you, why, and what your body specifically needs in response. Not in theory — as felt knowledge you carry with you.
A groundedness practice you can use in any room
When the board gets difficult. When staff bring their pain to your door. When the work feels impossible and you still have to show up. You will know how to return to yourself — fast.
You will understand the difference between your dynamic, magnetic, and receptive energy — and how to access each one intentionally, instead of running on whichever one is left.
Expanded capacity to hold difficulty without being undone by it
Not spiritual bypass. Not toughening up. A deepened capacity for the alivenes you desire — with more grace and less cost to yourself.
A deliberate recovery practice built for your life
Not a general wellness plan. Something specific to your nervous system, your depletion type, your actual schedule.

A Word About time and practice
〰️
A Word About time and practice 〰️
Restorative practice does not click into place after one session. It becomes strategic through repetition — through returning to it enough times that your nervous system learns to trust it.
The shift from self-care as relief to restoration as strategy does not happen overnight. It happens the third time you use a grounding practice before a hard board meeting and notice that you said what you meant to say.
It happens when you recognize your depletion signal early — before it becomes a crisis — and choose to respond to it. It happens when you realize that your capacity to lead, to hold others, to stay in the work for the long haul is directly tied to how intentionally you renew yourself.
Six weeks is enough time to feel the shift. Enough time to build the muscle memory of return. By the time you arrive at the retreat, restoration will not feel like something you are trying. It will feel like something you know.
WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE
You access the intelligence your body has been holding for you all along.
You restore yourself before the crash comes — and stay in the work longer because of it.
You trust your inner knowing before anyone else confirms it.
You lead your team from a regulated, resourced nervous system — and they feel the difference.
You navigate microaggressions, uncertainty, and hard seasons without losing your center.
You have a renewal practice that does not require ideal conditions — just your commitment to return.
You are no longer choosing between the work and yourself.
Because you understand that your restoration is the work.
You will leave this work knowing exactly how to tend yourself for the rest of your leadership life
INVESTMENT
If you are paying from your own pocket, you are doing the most courageous thing — choosing yourself first, with your own resources.
